Carin Faulkner

With more than 20 years experience in both internal and external recruitment, Carin has developed a reputation for developing strong strategic relationships with her clients and effectively sourcing senior level finance, specialist and executive candidates. She has previous exposure to the FMCG sector and whilst at Standard Bank, cemented her understanding of investment banking and financial markets.  Joining SET Consulting gave Carin the platform to leverage off her diverse skills and an opportunity to lead bigger teams and drive business objectives as part of the SET management team.

Early in 2017, and together with the ex-Director of SET, they pursued their own, brand new business venture – a competing level 2 BBBEE accredited recruitment consultancy, with a strong finance and IT focus, called Outside Capital. Here Carin developed a strong focus on sourcing senior level finance talent for clients in financial services, manufacturing and retail.

2023 was time for a fresh start and Carin was attracted by the impeccable reputation that TS Recruitment had secured under the helm of Theo Smit.  Carin continues to use well developed skills but applies these in a new environment to entice and engage with seasoned professionals.
