Karen Schmoor

Karen completed an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology (Wits) and has gained a wealth of experience within the recruitment and talent acquisition space.

She gained experience as a Senior Resourcing Consulting with SET Consulting, focusing on a select number of clients predominantly in the financial services, property, and logistics industries.  Prior to this, she was seconded to Absa as a Resourcing Consultant, where she was responsible for the end-to-end talent acquisition of Risk professionals at the Specialist, Management and Executive levels.

She has also previously contracted to Standard Chartered Bank, an international bank, as a Talent Acquisition Specialist.

The bulk of her career has been with DAV Professional Placement Group, a leading recruitment concern (part of Adcorp Holdings) as a Senior Consultant – Executive Search, where she built up a solid reputation with both her clients and candidates.

She is driven by a passion for finding the right people for an organisation, to meet or exceed business expectations, and in securing the very best career choices for her candidates.  She thrives on being an integral part of an organisation and candidate’s success journey.
